The Punjab Education Sector Reform Programme (PMIU-PESRP) has announced the launch of the Annual School Census (ASC) 2024-25. This initiative, conducted annually since 2004, is now fully digitized through the School Information System (SIS).

- Transition to Digital Platform
The ASC process, initially manual, is now automated via SIS. The transition of SIS to the PMIU-PESRP platform is expected to improve efficiency and ensure accurate data collection. - Training for Effective Implementation
Comprehensive training sessions were conducted in November 2024 for key stakeholders, including Master Trainers (MTs), IT Teachers, and Assistant Education Officers (AEOs). These sessions aim to ensure a seamless execution of ASC 2024-25. - Schedule of ASC 2024-25
The census will be conducted district-wise between December 27, 2024, and January 4, 2025, as per the following schedule:
