The notification was issued on 18 February 2026, outlining special working hours to facilitate employees observing fasting across the country.
Below are the complete details of the Ramadan office schedule for federal departments and institutions.
Offices Operating on Five-Day Work Week
Federal offices that follow a five-day working schedule will observe the following timings:
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM
- Friday: 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM
These adjusted hours aim to ensure smooth administrative operations while providing ease for employees during fasting.
Offices Operating on Six-Day Work Week
Government offices functioning on a six-day weekly schedule will follow this timetable:
- Monday to Thursday and Saturday: 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM
- Friday: 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM
The revised schedule ensures continuity of public services while accommodating the religious obligations of staff during Ramadan.
