Despite the celebratory mood, Opposition Leader Ahmed Khan Bhachar raised objections, questioning the bill’s alignment with the Parliamentary Laws Act of 1972. Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan defended the move, stating that the bill complies with existing laws and termed it a positive step by the government.
