The Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) has initiated the second round of e-transfer postings for 2024 on an open merit basis. This update, dated 27th December 2024, modifies the schedule previously outlined in the 21st December 2024 notification.

The department aims to streamline the transfer process using the HED Punjab Mobile App and CIS Website, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all eligible officers.

Terms of Reference (TORs)

  1. Eligibility for Application:
    • All officers are eligible to apply for transfer, even if their last transfer occurred less than a year ago.
  2. Single Subject Teachers:
    • Officers designated as single subject teachers will not be allowed to transfer.
    • Transfers for single subject teachers are restricted due to the STR/Workload requirements for relevant subjects in colleges.
  3. Application via App:
    • The HED Punjab Mobile App will prevent transfers if the officer is the sole subject teacher in the college.
