Punjab’s First Selection List for Admissions to Government Medical Colleges Released

Lahore, January 21: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has released the first selection list for admissions to the government medical colleges in Punjab. The list, which includes candidates for the MBBS program, is now available on the UHS official website.

Key Highlights:

  • The minimum merit for admission to government medical colleges this year stands at 94.3621%.
  • The merit for various medical colleges varies, with King Edward Medical College, Lahore, having the highest merit at 96.0727%.

Candidates can access the full selection list on the UHS website at www.uhs.edu.pk.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

  • All selected candidates must submit their college fees by January 23.
  • The college fee is Rs. 18,000 per year, and candidates can pay it through an online transfer to the Bank of Punjab account.
  • To complete the admission process, candidates need to download the fee challan from the UHS admission portal.
  • After paying the fee, candidates must provide a written confirmation of joining at their respective medical colleges.
  • Only those candidates who pay the fee and submit the joining confirmation will be considered officially admitted.

The second selection list will be released on January 24.
