Rationalization Update 2024-25

The School Information System (SIS) portal has been updated with the latest information on the Rationalization update 2024-25. Teachers can now check their post status and understand how the rationalization process will affect their schools. Here’s a complete guide:

Steps to Check Your Post Status

  1. Visit the official SIS website: https://sis.pesrp.edu.pk/.
  2. Click on Watch List and enter your school’s EMIS Code.
  3. View your post’s current status to understand your position in the rationalization process.

Key Highlights of Rationalization

  1. The rationalization process will be based on the school enrollment numbers as of October 31, 2024.
  2. Seniority vs. Juniority Debate:
    • No final decision has been announced yet regarding whether most senior or most junior teachers will be rationalized.
    • If the 2013 Rationalization Policy is followed, most junior teachers will be rationalized.
    • If the 2024 Transfer Policy is applied, most senior teachers may be considered for rationalization.

Understanding Post Status Categories

In schools, posts are categorized into three statuses under the rationalization policy:

Post TypeExplanation
Green PostsThese posts will not undergo rationalization. The teacher remains in their current position.
Orange PostsThese posts are set for rationalization. Teachers will be transferred based on the required vs. available gap.
Red PostsTeachers on these posts will be adjusted to fill the required vs. available gaps in other schools.

This rationalization policy aims to balance teacher availability across schools and ensure a fair distribution of resources. Teachers are advised to stay updated through the SIS portal and review their post status promptly.

For further updates, regularly visit the official SIS portal or contact your school administration.
